Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Resources

Designing a website is pretty useless until people can find your site. That is why you put all the work into a great website in the first place: so that people can view it. Or better: lots of people!

The vast majority of web users use search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN/Live to find the online information they are looking for. In order to be ranked high in the search engines' search results, i.e. to appear in the top ten for any given keyword, you must understand the many factors that play together to achieve this goal.

You will have some learning, and work to do. We have assembled a comprehensive list of SEO resources on several topics, for example SEO Training and Reference, that will guide you on your way to optimizing your website for search engines, or possibly to becoming a SEO expert, if you are up to it.
